The subscription to Scholastic MATH that I am requesting for my students will not only bring reading into the math classroom, but it will also bring in current events and help the students make real-world connections in ways that are relevant to their lives. With this set of magazines my students will be able to engage in math differently, and in ways that are new and interesting to them. When they are able to make real-world connections learning no longer becomes a task, but something that will happen naturally, and in a fun way. Not only does the subscription come with a classroom set of magazines, but it will also provide our class with dynamic online resources that will enable to students to read, watch videos, differentiate, and even play games connected to the learning topics.

About my class
