My students are energetic, sweet four and five year olds who love to move around. I have 17 students. Some with and some without special needs. Fifteen of my students are in my classroom from 9am-3pm. Our classroom is currently the only full day program in our school. Double the time, means double the energy! I am constantly keeping my students active in the classroom through movement games, brain breaks, and their favorite movement website-Go Noodle. We are a busy bunch and we are in love with learning! Our school is a public school that offers preschool programs. Students range in age from 2.9 to 5. We are an inclusive preschool, which means every classroom has some children with special needs integrated throughout the day. Most classrooms are half day programs, with exception to myself and the sub-separate classrooms. The city we are in has a diverse population and a high poverty level. Despite that, we are a caring and active community that values a strong education.
