I’m coming out of a music classroom, with few materials for the grade and subject I will be teaching for the upcoming school year. Currently, I have desks and chairs. It would be my greatest honor to be able to provide my students with tables! Tables would allow them to converse about their writing and research, share their thoughts, ideas, and passions while also connecting with their peers! Connecting with other humans is a scarcity due to our current health crisis and intense immersion of devices. If I could offer them the opportunity to socially soar while academically flourishing, I could not only meet their basic emotional and mental health needs but pump them up about exploring English language arts together.
