My classroom is an Early Childhood Special Education classroom of 8 students 3-5 years old from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Students in my class range from three to five years old. They have delays in 2 or more areas (cognition, motor, communication, social/emotional, and or functional/adaptive) of their development. Many of these students also come from homes where they experience poverty, transitional housing, and trauma. These students in my classroom are unique and special and learn and process information in a variety of ways. Donors Choose allows me to provide additional supports and specialized materials and services to my students to help them grow and learn.
