My students are all high school special education students who are on track to earn a diploma. They require extra support on the general education curriculum and come into tutorial to receive differentiated instruction and support on assignments. Along with working on their general education curriculum, they also have individual transition goals. We are learning what steps need to be taken in order to have a successful future. Our school serves students from diverse backgrounds and economic situations. Our goal in our class is to provide our students with the knowledge to make decisions that will lead to a successful future. This includes education, career and financial decisions. My students all have a tremendous amount of potential and are excited about what the future holds for them.
