The majority of items I asked for are books. I am a first year teacher trying to create my library. I need books on the student's appropriate guided reading level in order to help them become higher readers and be ready for second grade. I read to the children everyday and we love to read as a class and in small group settings. Dr. Seuss once said, " The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you will go." I want my students to know that there education is something that can never be taken away from them, and I will do everything in my ability to make them successful. After all, this is our future generation!
