The students in my classroom often struggle with respecting each others personal space while sitting on the carpet. Overly active students interfere in others learning because they are unable to set their own boundaries when moving around. Students are often seen laying on the floor, leaning on other students, sitting far away, and moving around to different areas to sit. All of these are distractions to focused students and could be improved with a classroom carpet grid, which would provide visual boundaries for each student. With a classroom carpet grid, active students will be able to see their own boundaries and respect others boundaries at the same time! Students often sit in the front of the classroom, but struggle with staying in their own space. A classroom carpet will allow the students to have their own personal area to learn. With this classroom addition, all students will learn in a distraction free environment!
