By including books specifically focusing on less represented populations of students, like the book I Am Enough and Bud, Not Buddy, I want to make sure that every student has at least one book in our classroom library that they can identify with and make a personal connection with. These books will only help my students grow into becoming strong, well-rounded individuals. Additionally, I want to include books that focus specifically on the sciences, like the book Hidden Figures, and how they can relate to our current educational focuses to further their understanding on material taught in our classroom setting.

About my class
