During my Reading and Math blocks, students are exposed to whole group and small group learning. The students rotate through stations during the small group learning times and they would love the opportunity to have more freedom of learning with our Smartboard. Currently we have a Smartboard that is connected through a computer and is somewhat difficult to access different apps, and we also have 4 (older) desktop computers. That does not give enough opportunities with technology for our classroom of 24 students. I would love to use the Mac Mini to change our Smartboard into what would seem like a giant iPad to the students, where they can choose the app that fits their learning goals and needs while differentiating the activities.
