These supplies will get my students engaged and excited about learning! We will use the puppets in circle time for storytelling and they will be in the reading center for the students to use independently or with their center partners to strengthen their literacy skills. The letter locks will be used in the ABC center to help students correspond upper and lowercase letters with the sounds they make. The letter stamps and word puzzles will be used in the writing center as an alternative method for writing as well as to provide varied opportunities to interact with letters. The science center activities will be used occasionally in circle time for science demonstrations and to extend science lessons, and they will also be used in the science center for independent use to expand students understanding of science topics. The building materials will be used in the blocks center to encourage student creativity as well as critical thinking skills. Bean bags will be used in various ways as a part of circle time, small groups, or centers. The organizational caddies will be used on a daily basis to bring order and peace to our routines, minimizing confusion and frustration.
