Having the set of iPads will allow for different structures of learning in my classroom. One way the iPad minis will be utilized is in student centered classroom literacy centers and math centers. There are endless apps that can be used to enhance reading fluency, reading comprehension, word study, and writing. Additionally, there are many fun math games that allow students to practice and learn math without them even realizing they are learning. Most importantly, the iPad minis will help to differentiate learning centers for both low and high level students so all students can and will have academic success in the classroom. Also, the iPad minis will be used in student research, such as looking up pictures of animals they are researching and writing about or a topic of interest. Your generous donation to our project will improve our classroom by building stronger readers, writers, and mathematicians, while motivating student learning.
