This year I implemented flexible seating in my classroom and my students have greatly enjoyed the freedom of sitting comfortably while spending a long period of time learning! The seats that I have have been working well and I would like to add more variety. My class is more engaged in learning when they are sitting in seats that they choose and can move when they need to. I believe that having yoga balls in the classroom will add a fun and wiggle-friendly addition to our flexible seating! I will be using them at the guided reading table since I think yoga balls will need slightly more supervision and management than other flexible seats and will add an extra incentive to guided reading time.
