More than 100 new books will support children's literacy development in their kindergarten year by offering books to meet a range of interests and reading abilities. When kids see books in our classroom library that interest them, their love of reading will be nurtured. The addition of these new books will double the current size of our library, offering access to new authors and information. These books will not only help my students grow into competent, life-long readers, but they will live in our classroom library for years to come. The hallmark of my kindergarten room will be emphasizing the literacy development of these young learners, and the books you donate will bolster my efforts!

About my class
