Early intervention in communication is vital to help those with learning and language difficulties to participate and progress at school. My students are learning to communicate their wants and needs while working on verbal and social interaction. Research shows that the best results for my students are brought by multi-sensory speech and language therapy which includes gross and fine motor skills activities. Giving my students multi-sensory learning will help them learn using all their visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile senses. It will allow them to access the curriculum and have a positive year of fun learning at school.
