Hello! I am an elementary art teacher in my 11th year of teaching. I recently transferred to my current school because of its focus - International Studies. Learning about different cultures has been an interest of mine since I was elementary age when my mother would take me to the local museum's International Festival. At my new school, the end of the year culminates in a celebration of world cultures, traditions, food and art. Coincidentally, at my previous school, I chose to focus my art lessons around an international theme. The photo shows some of the Mexican style projects I did with my students. I look forward to an exciting new school year!
