This is the first year I will be starting out in August since my Orton Gillingham training. I am very excited to start the year off with an entirely new curriculum. The document camera will allow the students to see how and where I am forming letters. This will allow students to watch the formation of letters as we work our way through the alphabet. It will also allow me to use it for other subjects too. I will be able to demonstrate on the active board concepts for math, literature, science and social studies. There are so many ways that this can be used in the classroom to diversify instruction.
