My students epitomize EXCELLENCE. I am blessed to teach 25 bright, exuberant, and determined children each and every day. These children are bright lights in, at times, a world of chaos and 'what seems like'...misplaced dreams. However, together me, my present lifeline (Ms. Lucia - my Paraprofessional), my extraordinary team of faculty and staff, my 'above and beyond' Principal - Mrs. Nathman, and finally my 25 fabulously-creative students have created an IMAGINARY 'secret garden' if you will...a classroom 'filled to the brink' with love, compassion, determination, balance, control, courage, and most importantly EMPATHY. I strongly feel that all of these CORE VALUES exemplify what a Kindergarten classroom should encompass. Yes, it takes time, patience, more time...and more PATIENCE! :) But, this is what Kindergarten and teaching is all about - a non-stop cycle of learning and LOVE!
