Each week I plan to implement these stories at the beginning of each unit. Students willed a story and complete an art project that aligns with the story over that week as part of our math rotations. Not only will students hear the story, they will learn about the mathematical concepts over the course of the week and complete activities in class, but also use integration of arts to solidify the concept. The hope is for students to reach 3 different disciplines over the course of a week, just during our math block! Students will have memories and projects to bring home and be proud of.
