Drying racks and aprons will be a staple resource in this art room. I am currently offering art during summer school as practice for the actual school year. The students do not have a place to dry their wonderful art work as of yet. They will also have uniforms in the fall, which might be a financial burden for some parents. We'd hate to ruin them with all of the projects they'll be working on. They'd absolutely love wearing the aprons. This will allow them to channel their inner Picasso or Matisse. There are a lot of other materials I'll need, but the drying racks are probably the most expensive thing on the list. We really need those.
