Snuggled up on a bean bag chair, at a low table with pillow seats, spread out on the floor with a lap desk, or sitting on stability balls are examples of flexible seating used to increase attention and productivity. Our First Grade Super Stars would love the opportunity to have choice in determining their most successful learning spaces! Imagine a learning space where activity abounds and students are working in comfortable learning spots. Research shows kiddos using flexible seating are increasing stamina, developing independence and fostering their love for learning! Flexible seating promotes independence and collaboration!
