Our students are a very diverse group of students from the neighboring and adjacent communities. Our school is a small public charter school of about 500 students where everyone is enrolled in the national Project Lead the Way Engineering curriculum. In addition to the standard academic courses our students take core engineering courses in Computer Engineering Design and The Principles of Engineering. They also can take electives in Aerospace Engineering, Digital Electronics, and Biotechnology Engineering. Many of our students from any grade level can also participate in the First Robotics Competition where they compete with other local schools in a robotic activity. In their senior year our students take a Capstone Engineering course in which they conduct research on an engineering project , develop a presentation of that project, and then present it to their teachers, parents, and peers during a school exhibition night for parents and friends..
