They come from some of the most mindbogglingly challenging home lives and they come to class every day with smiles, and excitement about learning. It just amazes me that with everything they deal with, they still find the joy of learning in my classroom everyday. Resilience is a gift most people take years to learn, my kids have it from just shear life and its ups and downs!
