When students are able to return to the classroom I want to provide them with experiences that will allow us to Bring Biology to Life. We have been watching videos and discussing these concepts but I want them to have hands-on experiences to they can model DNA and mitosis, solve a mystery with blood typing, and watch a "cell" as osmosis occurs. Students need to do biology to learn biology. These materials will allow students to interact with concepts and be scientists as they answer questions and conduct investigations into osmosis and genetics. They will work through the discovery of the structure of DNA as Watson and Crick did and model Mitosis and Meiosis.
