In a rotation of three classes, I teach mathematics to 65+ students. The students that I teach are full of heart and passion for learning. I love using hands-on experiences to teach math. We enjoy centers, outdoor classes, and kinesthetic learning. I love nothing more than to see my students hopping on a giant number line, or singing the "Hundreds Shuffle" song to the tune of "Cupid Shuffle." Mathematics is something I am passionate about because I have used it every day of my life, and it is relevant to every person. It is concrete and stays the same through the ages. My students need that consistency; something that will never change, as many of them face challenges on a daily basis.
