We are working towards inspiring students, faculty, and parents to live a lifetime of fitness by creating a new workout room. The emphasis on exercise is part of the school's attempt to combat childhood obesity. By introducing students to regular exercise at a young age, they can instill habits that will remain with them for a lifetime. We would like to recreate our gym storage area to create the ultimate fitness room for as many people as possible. We will start by painting the walls and getting the room ready for rubber flooring. We then want to incorporate different materials, equipment, and machines to maximize this space. We are requesting rubber flooring to create a safe environment in our fitness room. This room will be used by all students in the building. We will be starting before and after school fitness intramural, which will be open for students and staff. Thank you for taking the time to read our request and hopefully donate. Any help is greatly appreciated.
