The students in my classroom come from a variety of backgrounds and reflect the rich diversity of the neighborhood surrounding the school. I provide services for students needing occupational therapy in grades K-6, in both special and general education settings. They have wide-ranging abilities and unique characteristics. It is a pleasure to learn with them every single day! Staying focused, while seated and stationary, is a struggle for all students with typical needs. The needs of my students are exceptional, so they need a little more help keeping their minds and bodies with the lesson. Being present during instruction is a constant battle for my amazing students. They are capable of amazing things, and I am always searching for ways in which I can help them be the best version of themselves. These bean filled seats will be an invaluable resource in helping keep their attention where it needs to be!
