PASSION BASED LEARNING PROJECT: Our GATE program is a fantastic way for our advanced learners to get the enrichment and depth that they so long for. We are beginning GENIUS HOUR this year. It is a PBL focus-PASSION BASED LEARNING! Our school isn't just about regurgitating facts and figures. We want our kids to pursue their passions which will increase productivity and they need the tools to be able to do just that. Our school is 69% free/reduced lunch so our GT programs funds are limited. Our program wants to provide an environment where productivity can soar and kids feel free to be creative, confident and take responsibility for their own learning. To do that, I need to create a space that is warm and welcoming. I am requesting bean bag chairs and a rug for my room. Please support our program by donating to this project.
