Most of my third grade students come from poverty and unstable homes. While they are at school and in my classroom, I want to create the most welcoming and safe environment possible for them to foster their learning. One way I can do this for my students is by offering flexible seating. This will cater the classroom towards their learning needs even more by allowing them to select the seats they want to sit in during our lessons. The students will be more engaged and comfortable when they are sitting in flexible seating options rather than the traditional desk options we have now.
