My students are a wonderful group of children. Their special needs make them special in their own individual ways. Their unique and diverse learning styles and levels of learning have made each day a challenge and a blessing. Our school is in a low income neighborhood where my students not only contend with their own needs but the obstacles that come with poverty and sadly at times violence. This does not damper their learning or their love of coming to school. They are truly a fantastic group of students who with the right help are able to learn and develop.
