These Amazon Fire Tablets will allow my students to be more independent in their art-making. In our Art Studio, students choose their topics and materials. Right now, if students need a reference image, they ask to use my computer. We have been splitting the screen so that more than one student can use it at a time. However, this leaves many waiting for their turn. With one tablet at each table, more students can access resources. For example, if one student wants to look up how to draw a braid on their character in their drawing, another student can research how to create a phoenix out of clay.
