Our group of 6th grade students enjoy reading literature. Our school recently changed from a Kindergarten-5th grade school and we just recently added 6th grade. We are in need of Multicultural sets of books at our grade level. These books will be shared in Block 1 and Block 2. They are excited and engaged in literature. They are excited to connect with the plot, situations and characters of their same culture. Here a few comments from our students: Student: I enjoy reading books about the Hispanic culture because I can connect with the characters and their situations. Student: I enjoy reading books about my Hispanic culture because it allows me to connect with my own culture.

About my class
