The Fire 7" HD tablet is for English Learners, who comprise 90% of my class, to listen to audiobooks at the listening center with earbuds as they follow along with the physical book, or to listen to animated educational song videos with subtitles in English. This will help them become proficient in this language as 2nd graders. The clear plastic storage container is for classroom privilege coupons, like "Stinky Feet" (you get to remove shoes for the day!).... or for a new pencil or pencil eraser top, to sit in the teacher's chair, no bell work, extra center time, extra recess, be first in line, use playdough during free time, take a class game home for a day, special stickers to decorate one's paper with, use a special teacher gel pen on classwork, or for teams to earn a lunch a bunch (this team gets to eat with me during lunchtime in my classroom), and more. The easel paper becomes an anchor chart: a vital, permanent display in the classroom and learning reference for students to refer back to the most important parts of the lesson and the objectives. The easel stand is the best and most practical way to hold the chart up and write on the chart so everyone can see. The black pocket organizer is to put the daily schedule in with a picture of this, the time and what the clock looks like when it's that time. The scented markers are for marking students hands when they're doing well with a "scented smiley" as an incentive kids love! The laminator and laminate sheets are so important to have labels and posters for everything in English with visuals in order for it to hold up and last. Flexible seating makes learning possible for kids who need movement!
