We know that good books teach on many levels. My class will be involved in an in depht novel study reading Out Of My Mind by Sharon Draper.This project will provide a wonderful, enjoyable reading experience, while teaching compassion and understanding. The students will grow their reading and vocabulary skills. This stories main charcter has Multiple Sclerosis and still manages to have her voice heard. My students will love this read they will learn compassion and understanding of students with physical challenges, and will learn how to breakdown and discuss a novel,but also learn how to communicate their opinions and listen to other's opinions.

About my class
