My 5th grade students are caring, naturally curious, and eager to learn new things. In my classroom, I strive to encourage a love of learning, but especially of reading. Reading is my heart. I truly believe that through reading, students are able to see and understand different perspectives and thereby develop empathy for others. My school is not always able to provided needed materials and resources, so having the ability to create a DonorsChoose project, and to have caring people like you donate, is a blessing.

About my class
