My students will love to sit on a comfy, colorful rug with their own special spaces to practice their phonics and phonemic awareness. This whole class learning time will become that much more special when each student has their own spot to sit on as we practice the skills to become beginning readers. They will also be able to spread out and get comfortable as I read the new books that will not only be entertaining, but teach some valuable lessons! The sensory table will give my students a fun way to work on fine motor skills as well as helping them to develop language skills!
