Using spiral notebooks and journals to use as a personal record of social and emotional growth over a year is a major and crucial part of having a successful year! Giving students their own journal or spiral gives their minds space to create, plan, and develop. Students will use these books to write down personal thoughts, monitor growth, track challenges, and self-reflect. As the year progresses, students will be able to look at their progress and use their book to bear witness to their new found skills of resiliency and determination.
