I am requesting an Altay Plastic Human Skeleton. This plastic life-size skeleton will help my students learn about normal posture and bone identification. The donations for this project will improve my students knowledge of the human skeleton and help create an interest in other life science activities and lessons. It's easy to look at bones and think of them as dry, dead sticks in a body, but this couldn't be further from the truth. Bones are actually made of active, living cells. Touching and moving the extremities will peek my students interest in learning about the human anatomy and help me create hands-on lessons and an active learning environment.
