Through the use of manipulatives, students will work on building their phonemic awareness and phonics skills. These skills provide students the necessary tools to grow in reading and are critical for reading success! These activities will give students the opportunity to grow in the foundation of reading! Each day, students will work with me, using activities from this project, to work on word work. Through the phonemic awareness activities, students will be able to work on syllables and sounds in words, while they manipulate. With letter tiles, the students will be able to manipulate sounds in words and build words.
