I have 15 very energetic 2nd and 3rd grade students who are very eager to learn. They are full of energy, sweet, and caring. They each have their own style of learning and are very eager to learn when given the opportunity. My students attend a public school. The school is considered both Title I which means it is a school in a high poverty area. I see my students at different times throughout the day for small group instruction. This is nice because I am able to tailor instruction to each individual student as needed. In my small groups, we focus on what the students can do, not what they cannot.
