My class is very innovative. My parents as well as my students try to come up with ideas on how we can bring Science to life. My students are very motivated by hands-on activities. I find that my test scores increase the more hands-on activities that I do with them. I collaborate with my colleagues and group kids by not only ability but learning styles as well. Collaboration is key at my school and with collaboration comes the sharing of materials and ideas. This way we are able to reach multiple classes using the same materials and lessons. Not only do I collaborate with my grade level, but also vertically with the grades above and below me.
