My students are in need of flexible seating options to enhance their learning. I would like the opportunity to offer my students more flexible seating to help them become more engaged in their learning, helping them to become more successful. My Project: My students come to school ready to learn! However, it is difficult for seven-year olds to stay engaged while sitting in a hard chair for the whole day. They become restless and lethargic. I would love to offer them a variety of seating options that would allow them to bounce, wobble or fidget. Studies prove that children learn best when they are allowed to bounce on an exercise ball, wobble, sit, stand, etc. The different seating options for my project include beanbag chairs and wobble stools. This project will allow my students seating options while staying actively engaged.
