When it comes to learning, a classroom must be flexible to accommodate all the different types of learners and activities that go on. For students with special needs, sitting for hours at a time is neither healthy, nor stimulating. Stand up desks are a terrific solution to the sedentary nature of traditional seating. These stand up workstations are the perfect size for a 4th grader to work at while getting needed circulation throughout their body. Students that feel physically better, stay mentally active. Students who are free to move, stay engaged longer and are less disruptive. These stand up desks are compact and can be moved easily by students. They are specifically designed to accommodate laptops, which make them perfect for the Chromebooks that my students use. The flexible seating can allow students a little movement which can also help with their focus. They are the perfect resource for a classroom big on learning, but limited in space.
