My students are a mixture of grades kindergarten and first grade special needs students that live in high risk communities. I have had students with autism; students requiring special services such as occupational, physical, and/or speech therapy; guidance counseling, ADD/ADHD;... kinesthetic and tactile learners. My students are in need of a flexible classroom where they have choices of where to sit, while they have access to various tools and supplies.
