Inside my classroom, it has been a struggle to show and share work with the students because our classroom lacks the instructional technology of a document camera. Students are unable to see what I am writing and how I am editing and answering problems. Additionally, they can't share their own work with everyone in order to receive quality peer feedback. The document camera technology will enable my students to have an educational experience that will visually enhance their learning. The students will be able to work in a small group or as partners to view each others' work, exchanging ideas and correcting inaccuracies. When it's a student's turn to use the document camera, they will get to sit in the special matching presenter's chair. By sitting in the chair, they will take ownership of their work. I feel certain the children will enjoy this unique learning opportunity.
