I moved into a school with very old, outdated literature where students look at the typical story lines and plots. Being an avid traveler I understand the importance of bringing culturally diverse literature to the classroom. It is my hope that this new library will open the hearts and minds of my students for the world all around us. I am trying to create a completely new library where culture, history, and imagination collide. Along with creating this new environment, my students need to be able to wiggle around, so having wiggle and bounce chairs help keep their attention focused.
