The students in my class have a variety of disabilities from autism to Down syndrome. They range in ages from 3 to 5 years old. There are many different developmental levels. We teach basic school readiness skills, so that when they reach 4 they have the opportunity to move into a blended classroom. The children are excited to learn, especially with hands on activities. We are in a public school setting and are enjoying exploring our new school.
