The global pandemic has affected students and their learning across the world. With the new school year quickly coming up, our district has created a blended learning schedule where I will only be seeing my students two days a week, with remote learning for the other three days. I would love to build my classroom library with multicultural books with characters my students can connect with to celebrate diversity and enhance their curiosity for learning. In the event that my school district would start the year with remote learning, this multicultural library would be available for my students and serve as a “Library on Wheels” where I could still share the love of reading and curiosity for my students at home by bringing the comfort of the classroom to them.
