My students are always eager to use technology. Each day they work so hard to earn time on the computer to play educational games and programs provided by our school. With a new grant to Carrollwood, Achieve 3000, students are assessed through games and by voice recordings. These iPads will provide more opportunities for students to participate daily in these programs during our Reading Centers. Reading Centers is a set time each day that students work on different areas of literacy. With having iPads, our class would be able to have a new center that is focused around literacy. Students will be able to use our Achieve 3000 grant and other programs. They will be able to record themselves using the microphone feature for a more accurate assessment.
