If students have fun reading and get hooked on a series or author, they will read more! So many struggling readers just haven't found books that they enjoy reading. My classroom library is full of outdated, culturally insensitive, old books! I have not received a classroom library update in the 10 years I have been at this school. I notice my students are always getting up during reading time to exchange books or to avoid reading. New, relatable books would help my students learn o love reading. I chose book series which are a great way to keep readers reading. Thank You!
