I am requesting a mini trampoline, water bottles, a soccer ball, and jump ropes. Having our own exercise tools will allow the children to be active at a spur of the moment. Imagine, the children working diligently in the classroom for a while. It's time to take a break! Can you see them? They are waiting for their turn on the trampoline. It's a beautiful day out so let's head outside and exercise! As a class the children can now go outside and play a game of soccer while some may enjoy jumping rope. Since the trampoline folds up, that may head outside with us as well. After the students have worked up a sweat there will be no need to wait in a long line to use the water fountain. They'll grab their water bottle and quench that thirst they just worked up. With a few pieces of equipment the children are learning the importance of exercise and being active as well as gaining the ability to be more focused.
